Little League World Series!

It's the end of summer and that means it's time for the Little League World Series tournaments! “We look forward to another exciting season of Little League Baseball and Softball around the world with the culmination of the year celebrated at the International Tournament in July and August. These tournaments spotlight the hard work and dedication of our players, parents, and volunteers that can be found in thousands of communities throughout the year” said Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and CEO.

The final phase of the 2018 International Tournament began on July 28 with the Senior League Baseball World Series in Easley, S.C. On July 29, the Little League Intermediate (50/70) Baseball World Series and the Junior League Softball World Series kicked off, and a day later, the Senior League Softball World Series began in Lower Sussex, Del. On August 8, the Little League Softball® World Series got underway for its 25th year in Portland, Ore., and on August 12, the Junior League Baseball World Series will begin its eight-day slate. As it does every year, the tournament schedule will conclude with the Little League Baseball® World Series from August 16-26 in South Williamsport, Pa.

Over the course of 30 days, approximately 935 Little Leaguers® ages 10 to 16 from 78 different baseball and softball teams around the world will compete to determine the seven World Series champions for 2018.
